Multi Choke, 28" barrels, Ventilated Top Rib.
A well presented 686 Special in good condition.
The blacking of the barrels is good, save for the areas usually hidden by the fore-end and a small area on the top barrel on the left, above the fore-end. The price has been adjusted to reflect this.
The bores are bright and mirror like, with no blemishes. There is a ventilated top rib that has a single metal bead sight up front.
The action, trigger guard and top lever have fine scroll engraving. The action locks nicely and the ejectors are strong.
The stock has good grain and colour although there is a 2.25" band of very slight colour change probably where a removable butt pad has been left in place, again barely noticeable.
The safety and barrel selector have very little play and the safety is auto-applied on cocking.
Supplied with 4 chokes at;- Full, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4.
